i have to go with peter being the main character and being he funniest of all the family

stewie is awesome especially how he is constantly ignored by everyone except brian

that is simply because brian is the only member of the family that can hear stewie talk

To me sometime the other family members can here Stewie, but mostly Brian can here Stewie in every episodes even Brian's son Dylan can understand Stewie.
