Most files on this site will be in .Rar format, mostly because the upload sites usually don't accept the file as it is. For example, the uploaded file should be in .mp4, but because megaupload won't accept the raw file, .rar is commonly used. Also, .rar is the easiest to compress and decompress if you have a lot of parts to a file.
